Research Associate & Environmental Graphic Designer Since 2021, I have specialized in Transit Map Design and Data Visualization at TfC, where my focus is on designing, creating, and optimizing maps for transit systems to ensure seamless passenger experiences in Cairo, Egypt. As I delve into the pivotal role of Passenger Information Systems in creating livable cities, I’ve found that these systems not only enrich my understanding of urban mobility but also directly inform my academic research on the relationships between cities, active transportation, and community well-being. Ultimately, my goal as both a designer and a researcher is to contribute to the development of urban environments that nurture vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable communities.
